    Podcast cookery classes

    By | January 23, 2008

If you don’t know cooking you can always learn. And no, it doesn’t always have to be from your mum or through. There are podcasts too these days.

Start Cooking is a video podcast that shows you how to make a host of mouth watering dishes step by step with all the procedures including baking, cookery etc.

This is one great show for people who want to learn the basics of cooking irrespective of their age.  This podcast is created by Kathy Maister and she goes about making simple creations and even delicacies. Some of the things that have been featured so far are lasagna, beef stew, roast chicken and even shrimp.

The website also features a great deal of recipes, procedures, cooking tips and other useful stuff which are organized and very easy to follow. This podcast will teach you how to make the yummiest dishes for the people you love.

Then there is also the Chic Podcast which is another foodie show and it features a variety of topics including food, drink and even restaurants.  The show is pretty informal and free flowing and is hosted by Chef Tom Beckman. He can talk about pretty much anything and his topics are rather unconventional.  He can talk about things like what kind of food to eat in what situation, about eggs, the kind of wine to be served with a particular food preparation etc. The show is rather informative and listeners learn a lot of things about food, drink and allied things.

Podcasts featuring cookery shows are becoming increasingly popular and are a very good option for the current generation who like having everything at the click of a mouse. Making cooking easy through the internet was probably the only thing that could have made them take a step towards the chicken.
